Energy Boost And Your Stress Management the Natural Way

You Should Read This To Maintain Your Physical And Mental Health For Healthy Living

How do you handle stress?

I’m not going to lie to you. Just thinking about stress might make me feel stressed. However, it is critical that we discuss this problem. In a Gallup poll done in 2019, 55% of American respondents reported feeling anxious throughout their usual everyday lives. We can only speculate on how that figure will have altered by 2020.

Stress can make you feel isolated and as if you have no hope. That, however, is not the case. Stress can also lead to long-term health concerns that are associated with the thyroid. From an Eastern medicine perspective, excessive emotional stress or improper diet can damage Liver Qi, which stagnates and, in time, turns into Heat, generating Dampness and Phlegm. When the Phlegm Heat accumulates in the neck, it causes goiter.  And when the Phlegm Heat accumulates in the eyes, it causes bulging eyes.

The Damp Heat or Phlegm Heat can injure the Yin, which, in turn, causes palpitation and insomnia, tremors of the hands, and fever with sweating (because the Heat agitates the Fluid out of the body). The damage to the Yin may extend to the Kidneys, causing Empty Heat.  The symptoms of Empty Heat such as irritability, five-palm Heat, night sweating, and fever are typical at the late stages of hyperthyroidism.

An overactive thyroid gland produces an overabundance of hormones and increases basal metabolism. The etiology is unknown, however, it is thought to be an immune condition. Graves’ Disease is the most common cause (thyrotoxicosis). It is a disorder characterized by excessive sympathetic nervous system stimulation or the creation of excess thyroxine (A hormone that assists the transformation of food sources into energy and for protein synthesis). Goiter, excessive vomiting, pregnancy, excessive iodine consumption, and pituitary adenoma are all significant factors.

Increased heart rate (tachycardia), elevated blood pressure, palpitations, depression, uneasiness, and anxiety are all symptoms of an overactive sympathetic nervous system. Thyrotoxic symptoms include increased metabolism, weight loss, eating more food than necessary, and various psychological disorders caused by excessive thyroxine production. Exophthalmia, or the protrusion of the eyeballs as a result of inflammation of the tissue behind the eye, is another noticeable feature of Graves’ illness.

Your energy level is critical to the life you want. The question is, what is your present level of energy? Do you consider yourself a “dragger”? That individual who is constantly searching for a burst of energy to get your day started? Or are you a “top performer”? That person who wakes up every day eager to share your enthusiastic energy with the rest of the world? For top achievers, this information may serve as a refresher on how you go about your day. If you consider yourself a dragger, I hope you find this helpful site. At least the bit about taking a 3-5 minute BREAK in the middle of your already hectic multitasking day to refresh your brain.

A poor diet, such as overeating or undereating, or an excess of cold and raw foods, might harm the Spleen Yang. Spleen Yang Deficiency, congenital weakness, or post-natal starvation can all result in Kidney Yang Deficiency, which causes Water retention, which invades the Heart and produces hypothyroidism. Prolonged use of bitter and frigid herbs, as well as untreated chronic conditions, might harm the Yang, resulting in hypothyroidism.
Emotional stress, as well as excessive physical and mental activity, might harm Kidney Yang, resulting in hypothyroidism.

A thyroid gland that is underactive, resulting in inadequate thyroid production and reduced basal metabolism. An enlarged thyroid gland is the most common reason. This frequently results in sections of the gland losing their ability to function over time. This is known as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. The second most prevalent reason is hyperthyroidism therapy with radioactive iodine and surgery. Another issue that contributes is a lack of iodine in the diet. It is a leading cause in many developing nations, but it is less likely to be a cause in the United States since the addition of iodine to table salt.
Fatigue, muscle and mental sluggishness, and constipation are all possible symptoms. Obesity, dry skin and hair, low blood pressure, cold intolerance, and goiter are further characteristics.

We all experience stress, which isn’t always a bad thing. In reality, pressure is necessary for our bodies to become stronger, both physically and psychologically. The issue is, will you be able to handle it? Do you know how to refresh your brain regularly to give yourself the most energy? So read more below about energy boost and managing your stress for everyday daily living.

Daily Life Suggestions

  • Remove yourself from a stressful situation if possible. We don’t imply you should avoid stress for the rest of your life. We intend to manage your stress in a planned manner. If you see a distressing message on social media, go away and do not engage. Take a sleep or a bath to unwind. Even favorable stimuli, such as a promotion or other good news, can generate stress. Recognize when it’s necessary to take a little break to regroup.
  • Improve your problem-solving skills. Let’s be real. Raise your hand if you’ve ever put off completing a project till the last minute. (Our hands are also up.) This can result in a variety of stressors, including more time to think about the project and less time to actually complete it. When you have an issue or a project, make sure to manage it well to reduce the impact on your mental health.
  • Accept what you can’t change. This is something that is simple to say yet difficult to do. It is pointless to expend efforts on something that cannot be changed. Instead, put your efforts into something else.
  • Make positive experiences for yourself. Remember the energy we discussed earlier? Use it to your advantage to create pleasant experiences in your life. Consider how you may better control situations and how you can help others by bringing positive energy to them. You will, in turn, lift your own spirits.
Journal. When was the last time you kept a journal? Make a note of your daily experiences and emotions. More importantly, go over your journal on a regular basis. Is there a pattern to your behavior? Determine how to resolve the situation so that it does not continue to stress you out.
  • Make a joke of it. A nice belly laugh can do wonders! Laugh at your blunders, but try harder the next time.
  • Be adaptable. Consider life to be a river that constantly ebbs and flows. Because life is flexible, we should be as well. Stress can be reduced by being more adaptable in how you handle problems.
  • Assert yourself and speak up when necessary. We can sometimes end up in sticky situations if we don’t speak up. Speak up if you’re not sure about something.
  • Seek help, but don’t rely on it. There is nothing wrong with seeking assistance. Don’t grow overly reliant on others since there may be a day when you can’t reach out. When required, develop your own self-sufficiency.
