Embarking on a Detox Journey: Nourishing the Body and Spirit

We all know how important it is to eat healthy, nutrient-rich foods in order to maintain our physical health. But did you know that what we eat can also have a profound impact on our spiritual practice? Just as the body needs certain nutrients to function optimally, so does the spirit. And when we choose to nourish our bodies with healing, whole foods, we are also giving ourselves a powerful tool for deepening our spiritual practice and opening ourselves up to higher levels of consciousness. Cleansing and detoxing our body makes our senses more acute and it’s an essential practice in nature.

Food therapy is an ancient practice that acknowledges the connection between what we eat and how we feel mentally and emotionally. When we make the decision to consciously nourish our bodies with healthy, life-giving foods, we are also feeding our spirits. Mikio Sankey Ph.D. licensed acupuncturist is a Japanese acupuncturist who teaches practitioners about esoteric acupuncture. As a part of his practice he also teaches on the importance of food therapy. TCM doctors recommend cleansing and detoxing at least once a year.

In this blog post I wanna share with you a deeper understanding about our intelligent design and how the food that we eat affects how we think feel and move about in life.

How intelligent is the human design?

There is an increase in higher awareness all around the world. Fresh, organic foods and drinks will undoubtedly assist us on our path to becoming more elevated spirits and enhanced mental clarity. I think it’s pretty obvious, but just to give a little bit more clarity, let me remind you about how consciousness is within the cell. Space between the cells of the body and space within the space is consciousness. If you take time to listen to your own body, I will tell you everything you need to know because the body has an innate working system that is proven through the study of Chinese medicine and meridian therapy.

For example, when you eat different types of food, the body knows what digestive enzymes to produce. The body automatically knows how much of each enzyme is needed to digest the food. The body produces antibodies to fight against pathogenic factors and proteins to help build the cellular structure. Immune system automatically produces an army of cells to fight antigens that are attacking the body at any one time. This massive organized intelligence works with our body. But when we take prescription medication and drugs we become unhealthy and overweight.

We are never told how to restore our body and bring it back into balance after living so long with drugs or poor eating habits. At ChiC Wellness we believe that the body is a foundation of our daily existence. When we listen to the rhythm of our own body, and restore our body with dense nutrient foods our chances of becoming sick. Our Nutritional Therapy program does just that.

If you’ve ever crave food or drinks that are considered unhealthy this could possibly mean that there is an emotional or mental issue that requires your attention. The quality of your physical vehicle plays an important role in the quality of your life and the quality of your life is more important than the length of your life.

Let’s say for example you bought a high-performance car but you put cheap fuel and low-quality oil in the car. People with high-performance cars never put cheap fuel in their vehicles it’s like going to a junkyard for a part needed for a Lamborghini versus going to a Lamborghini dealer and getting that same part.

If you want both at the quality of life and a length of life is essential to only ingest high-performance food and high-quality food for your body. Artificially preserved foods, foods that contain chemicals and are genetically modified microwaved canned, and sprayed alter the natural fresh state and this puts stress on the body.

It is imperative that we consume foods that are the closest to their natural state whenever possible.

How to obtain higher levels of consciousness

Leaders before us in the relm of higher consciousness teach us how to reach a higher level of consciousness through practices such as meditation or mindfulness. Others may believe that certain substances – such as psychedelics – can help to elevate one’s state of mind. But we don’t hear much about how important our food is in order to reach these states.

The type of food and drinks that we choose to put in our body is an indication of a consciousness level of that individual and consciousness level is not anonymous with how intelligent someone is. A person can be very academically advanced but unaware of how food or drinks affect a physical body.

To find our own center which is our inner flow of the frequencies of our higher self means staying on the path that best fits our requirements for sustaining an existence with an expanded level of consciousness at any particular juncture in our life.

Everything we eat and drink gives our physical and non-physical energy bodies structure. It’s not only the particles of the food that we absorb through the digestion process that influences our energetics field. But it’s the energy of the food and drink that influences us and the decisions that we make in life. The vibration of foods that we consume all has a direct impact on our consciousness. The higher the vibration of food the better the chance of us obtaining higher levels of consciousness.

Why is a cellular reset essential?

I’m going to send you a rundown of some of the stuff which traps fat cells, and I want you to reflect on your existence and what you’ve achieved.” On this page, you will know why cleansing and detoxing our internal organs is important.

Stress, followed by bad sleeping habits, living in a city, driving a vehicle, smoking or being around others who smoke, dealing around chemicals, consuming caffeine, tea, beer, soda, and not enough water, artificial flavors, paints, and sweeteners, taking so much medicine, not getting enough vitamins and minerals, and not exercising enough all contribute to poor health long term..

In our many years of practice I have worked with many people from all over the world. Many of them have been consumed by their work and their families and they’ve allowed their health to take a seat on the sidelines. But let me tell you about one patient who was on multiple medications and whose blood sugar levels were overlooked by her doctor. Until we started working together this Marianna had a horrible time staying awake during the day.

Marianna was always an active person. She loved playing sports and eating whatever she wanted. But over time, she started to gain weight. Her friends and family told her that’s just what happens as we age, but she didn’t believe them. Marianna decided to go see her doctor to get some answers.

Unfortunately, her Western doctors weren’t paying attention to her A1C numbers. Months went by and Marianna’s health continued to decline. Finally, she met with Dr. Antonika who helped her realize that she needed professional help with weight loss. With Dr. Antonika’s guidance, Marianna was able to lose the weight and get her health back on track!

Over the last 20-30-40 years, toxic load accumulate within the body on a daily basis. There are a few reasons why Western medicine doctors don’t encourage detoxification. First, they say there is no scientific evidence that detoxification actually works. Second, detoxing can be dangerous if done incorrectly, and it can also be expensive. Finally, most doctors believe that the best way to get rid of toxins is through the normal functions of the body, such as urination and defecation. So while detoxification may have some benefits, it is not generally recommended by Western doctors.

However because of fast farming, (a type of agriculture where crops are grown quickly using intensive methods. The most common type of fast farming is hydroponics, which involves growing plants in water instead of soil. Hydroponics can be done indoors or outdoors, and it is a popular method for growing vegetables and fruits. Other types of fast farming include aeroponics (growing plants in an air-tight chamber with no soil) and aquaponics (growing plants in water that contains fish waste). Farmers to produce larger quantities of food in a shorter amount of time. It also uses less water and fewer chemicals than traditional farming methods. We are losing vital nutrients from our food supply that we used to have 100 years ago. One of the farming practices that have been around for years is the spraying of crops with herbicides that contain glyphosate.

Glyphosate is a type of herbicide that is used to kill weeds. It is the most commonly used herbicide in the world and has been used for over 40 years. Glyphosate works by inhibiting an enzyme that is needed for plants to grow. When glyphosate is sprayed on plants, it kills them quickly.

So this is why we are seeing a lot of inflammation in our body and more chronic disease.

How do you know if you have toxic load?

Toxic load is a term used to describe the amount of toxins in the body. Toxic load can be caused by a number of environmental and lifestyle factors, including pollution, smoking, stress, and diet. Excessive amounts of toxins in the body can lead to health problems such as cancer, heart disease, and autoimmune diseases. There are a number of ways to reduce your toxic load, including eating organic foods, avoiding processed foods, and exercising regularly.

As previously said, the body will attempt to tell you in a variety of ways. Slow breathing, freezing hands, and feet while the majority of the body is wet, varicose and spider veins, dry skin on the thighs, cellulite, swollen, bloated feels, acid reflux, constipation, and irritable bowel syndrome, stomach aches, inflammation, rashes, and irritations, water loss, and very low energy levels are also possible symptoms.

How do I get started with a detox?

To ensure that the body functions at its best at all times, it must be cleansed from the inside as well as the outside. Unfortunately, our fast-paced, processed-food lifestyles, which include genetically engineered, hormone-enriched, and extensively fertilized food, tainted water, and extremely polluted air, ensure that so few of us are able to consume as many nutrients as we need to fight the pressures of daily life, sustain energy levels, or our immune systems.

Let me tell you a quick story about what happened to one of my most recent patients.

Sue had always been a little sluggish, but she never really thought much of it. She was always busy with work and taking care of her family, so she just put it down to being tired. But then one day, she read an article about how cleansing could help boost energy levels, and she decided to give it a try.

After 30 days on our Ultimate Lifestyle nutritional therapy program, Sue began to feel like a new person! She had more energy than ever before and felt more motivated to take care of herself. Her friends and family were amazed at how great she looked and how much more energy she had. Sue was definitely hooked on cleansing now and swore by its benefits!

“This Is why a cellular reset Is so vital for maximizing the benefits of exercise and diet.”

What should I eat?

When seeking to find the right food therapy program, I make the decision based on my personal diagnosis and the results you are seeking to achieve from working with me. Many individuals will get caught up in only wanting to see change on the scale or how their clothes fit, this is what’s holding you back. I set criteria for you to work from while we improve your overall lifestyle. I am looking at your overall health and how you will be feeling during the process. From my experience having a lifestyle rich in foods that are from all colors of the rainbow and rich in nutrients helps create a successful long-term environment for good nutrition because we are moving away from the sole focus on how you might be looking at what is health and well-being. When I design a food therapy program I may not include some of the modern nutritional protocols. I have to take into consideration how you look feel and perform while following our holistic doctors at ChiC Wellness advice.

At the moment, no conventional standards or legal definitions identify any item as a superfood. However, the majority of superfoods are plant-based. Superfoods are things like avocado, almonds, coconuts (actually most nuts) leafy greens, quinoa, mushrooms, asparagus, blueberries, broccoli sprouts, garlic, ginger, green tea, kale, sea kelp, lemon water, milk thistle, oregano, parsley, peppermint and the list goes on.

If you know how important high vibrational foods are to the body then you are in the right place. The phrase “superfood” refers to foods that provide maximal nutritional advantages while consuming the fewest calories. They include a lot of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. In this blog, I’m going to share with you the most powerful superfoods that are packed with everything your body needs some of my favorite recipes that I’ve been using for years.

Asparagus

Asparagus has a lot of fiber and vitamins B, K, A, C, and E. Its high folate content promotes the formation of new cells, which is especially important for pregnant women. Pregnant women who are weak in folate may have children with neural tube defects.

Asparagus is also high in potassium, which aids in the maintenance of normal cell function by controlling fluid volume in the body. Vitamin C, an antioxidant, increases immunity and iron absorption in the body, whereas vitamin A improves eye health and reduces the risk of macular degeneration. Another nutritional regimen present in asparagus aids in the formation of capillary walls.

Blood Sugar Advantages

Another of asparagus’s health benefits is that it can help prevent type 2 diabetes. Consuming asparagus on a daily basis helps to regulate blood sugar levels by increasing insulin production. Asparagus boosts insulin production and beta-cell function, lowering the risk of type 2 diabetes, according to a 2011 study published in the British Journal of Nutrition. It also possesses anti-inflammatory properties, which aid in the reduction of inflammation and oxidative stress, both of which may be causes of type 2 diabetes.

Enhances Digestion

Because of its high fiber content, asparagus is believed to aid bowel movements and alleviate stomach pain. The prebiotic inulin, found in asparagus, is not broken down until it reaches the large intestine. It provides food for healthy bacteria in the large intestine, such as Lactobacilli, which aids in nutrient absorption and reduces. Allergies are less likely, and colon cancer is prevented. As previously said, asparagus helps the body flush out excess salts and fluids. This is especially good for people who have high blood pressure since it reduces cellulite, edema, and tissue swelling.

Avocado

This delicious fruit is high in oleic acid, which is helpful to the body. This type of monounsaturated fat aids in fat metabolism. It also contains a lot of the antioxidant carotenoid lutein and zeaxanthin, as well as Vitamin E. (tocopherol). These antioxidants help to minimize oxidative stress and promote a healthier cellular environment. Other necessary components include ionic potassium and folate. In the body, these elements form alkali, which aids in the buffering of acidic wastes that accumulate in human tissue and circulation. Avocados are a great addition to a vegetable-based meal. Most vegetables have a high concentration of carotenoid-based antioxidants, especially when they are fresh. These antioxidants, according to study, are lipophilic (fat-loving) and are best absorbed in the body when combined with a healthy fat like oleic acid.

Avocados are good anti-aging foods since they assist to reduce wrinkles and skin aging. D-mannoheptulose sugar from avocados has been shown to improve the skin epidermis by enhancing collagen formation. Avocados also include amino acids and carotenoid antioxidants, which aid in the reduction of age spots, the relief of inflammation, and the healing of wounds and burns.

BLUEBERRIES

Blueberries include a lot of anthocyanins, which are antioxidant phytonutrients that give them their blue color. These nutrients are extremely effective at preventing free radical damage to the collagen matrix of cells and tissues. Anthocyanins have also been shown to improve capillary integrity and enhance the effects of Vitamin C. The antioxidant activity of blueberries has been shown to be particularly advantageous in sustaining brain function and protecting neural tissue from oxidative damage. In studies, memory and learning have improved, while depressed symptoms have decreased.

  • Blueberries also include important phytonutrients such as pterostilbene, resveratrol, flavonols, and tannins. All of them have been shown to inhibit cancer cell proliferation.
  • Blueberries provide the following health benefits:
  • Polyphenol antioxidants contribute in the selective growth of good bacteria species that aid in fat burning, nutrition absorption, and waste elimination.
  • UV Radiation Protection: Blueberries’ anthocyanin antioxidants help to protect humans from the detrimental effects of UV radiation exposure.
  • Improve Brain Function: The particular antioxidant profile of blueberries has been shown to have considerable advantages on cognition, mood, and memory.

SPROUTS OF BROCCOLI

  1. Antioxidant Pathways are Activated by Sprouts

Sulforaphane affects other systems in the body in the same manner as a competent leader provides tools and support to his team in order for them to reach a goal. According to studies, the bioavailability of SF in the body influences the activity of NRF2, a solid antioxidant signaling gene. In other words, increasing your sulforaphane intake is crucial for the activation of several anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting responses.

  1. Glutathione Levels are Increased by Sprouts
Sprouts provide a high concentration of glutathione-boosting substances. One of the most efficient strategies to increase glutathione levels and reduce oxidative stress is to consume broccoli sprouts on a daily basis.
  2. Quercetin Is Found in Sprouts

Quercetin, an antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables, has been related to cancer prevention. Sprouts are high in quercetin, which aids in the reduction of inflammation, the preservation of cardiovascular function, and the detoxification of the toxic waste produced in our cells by oxidative stress.

Antimicrobial Properties of Sprouts

Historically, cruciferous vegetable sprouts were utilized in treatments as antibiotics. Myrosinase, an enzyme found in sprouts, converts glucoraphanin to SF. SF, a sulfur-containing molecule, has been widely researched and demonstrated to have innate defensive qualities that work as an antibacterial agent in the digestive system and other human organs.

Sprouts Help to Improve Gut Microflora

Consuming sprouts on a daily basis helps to enhance intestinal flora. This reduces the chances of getting stomach, intestinal, or colorectal cancer. Maintaining a healthy gut microbiota is necessary for having a strong immune system, which is necessary for lowering inflammation and your risk of cancer.

Chia Seeds

Chia contains a lot of flavonoid and polyphenol antioxidants such quercetin, kaempferol, chlorogenic acid, and caffeic acid. It has three times the antioxidants as blueberries in the same volume. Chia also contains a lot of ALA, a short-chain omega-3 fatty acid, as well as soluble and insoluble fibers. Chia is a great anti-stress and anti-disease supplement because of these ingredients.

Chia’s combination of essential lipids, antiparasitic antioxidants, and a wide range of fibers is a perfect nutritional combination for intestinal health.

Chia seeds can be found in a variety of dishes, such as soups, no-grain cereals, smoothies, and baked goods. They’re also a great addition to any salad or vegetable sauté. Many vegans lack healthful proteins and fats, whereas many carnivores lack antioxidants and fiber.

CHLORELLA

Chlorella is the most concentrated source of pure chlorophyll. All across the world, chlorella is used as a helpful dietary supplement for immune support and detoxification. Chlorophyll helps to purify the blood and allows the body to use oxygen more efficiently. It also aids in the clearance of a variety of toxins, including mold and industrial pollution. Chlorophyll contains magnesium, which helps to maintain the brain and neurological system and protects the central nervous system from toxic buildup.

Chlorella contains zinc, GLA, and other minerals that are necessary for healthy cell membranes and insulin receptor sites. It also eliminates xenobiotics such phytates, dioxins, pesticides, and industrial waste. Heavy metals such as mercury, lead, nickel, and aluminum can be bound and removed. It also removes preservatives, artificial tastes, and colorings from foods.

coconut oil

Because of its high saturated fat content, coconut oil is the most stable of all regularly used fatty acid sources. This stability is critical because it minimizes the amount of free radicals in our bodies. Coconut oil is an antioxidant due to its resistance to oxidation and the generation of free radicals.

Coconut oil aids in the regulation of hormones, the stabilization of blood sugar levels, and the acceleration of cellular recovery. It is also known to boost the thyroid and relieve liver and pancreatic stress. This boosts metabolism and allows us to burn fat more effectively. Furthermore, because of its smooth and easy digestion, coconut oil boosts our energy levels.

Both breast milk and coconut oil are high in immune-boosting lauric acid, which our bodies convert to monolaurin. Monolaurin has antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal effects.

10 Ways to Increase Your Consumption of Coconut Oil: (Always get Virgin or Extra Virgin Coconut Oil)

  1. Apply as a moisturizer to hair and skin after showering.
  2. Use as a natural deodorant on the underarms.
  3. When possible, cook with coconut oil. Because of its extraordinary stability, it can withstand extreme temperatures.
  4. For greater energy and cognitive function, take an additional 1-2 tablespoons of raw extra-virgin coconut oil orally each day.
  5. Use coconut oil for oil pulling on a regular basis.
  6. Add some coconut oil to your morning coffee or tea.
  7. Make smoothies and creamy foods with coconut milk.
  8. Sprinkle melted coconut oil over steamed vegetables to make them creamier and more flavorful.
  9. Snack on coconut flakes on a daily basis.
  10. Combine with chocolate to make some amazing meals.

CORDYCEPS

Cordyceps has been proven to aid in the production and regulation of cortisol and other stress hormones. They can affect the body to establish homeostatic equilibrium due to their adaptogenic qualities. This means that they drive the body toward a typical homeostatic set point. They reduce and stabilize stress hormones when they are too high; they raise and stabilize stress hormones when they are too low.

Cordyceps extract enhanced a group of rats’ physical performance in an endurance swim by more than 16% in a 2003 research. The rats also showed symptoms of reduced stress during the swim when compared to the placebo group.

According to a 2014 study, cordyceps dramatically reduced exercise-induced oxidative damage in rats. The researchers discovered that rats fed Cordyceps had significantly greater levels of intracellular antioxidants such as superoxide dismutase, glutathione, and catalase in their serum, liver, and muscle. In their serum, liver, and muscle, they showed much-reduced levels of oxidative stress indicators.

CUCUMBERS

Cucumbers are abundant in silica, a mineral essential for healthy connective tissue (muscles, ligaments, cartilage, bone, & skin). It also includes ionic potassium, magnesium, and vitamin C, all of which contribute to its strong alkalizing action in the body. Cucumbers are also high in fluids, which aid to keep the skin, joints, and tissues hydrated.

The peculiar lignans found in cucumbers have recently piqued the interest of scientists. Lignans include lariciresinol, pinoresinol, and secoisolariciresinol. A new study has connected these lignans to a lower risk of cardiovascular illness, as well as breast, uterine, ovarian, and prostate cancer.

Cucumbers contain triterpene phytonutrients called cucurbitacins A, B, C, D, and E. Extensive study has been conducted on these phytonutrients’ ability to suppress cancer cell signaling pathways. Fresh cucumbers have been demonstrated to increase antioxidant levels in the body as well as decrease pro-inflammatory chemicals such as COX-2 and nitric oxide.

Its combination of alkalizing minerals, electrolytes, and fluids makes it one of the top foods for boosting energy levels in the globe. Cucumbers can also reduce blood pressure and enhance the body’s natural cleansing process.

Cucumbers are widely used topically to improve the function of the skin. Cucumber’s natural ascorbic acid and caffeic acid help to keep water out of the skin. This helps to cure skin disorders such as sunburn, inflammation, and eczema by reducing swelling beneath the eyes.

Cucumbers, when consumed and administered topically, are also quite good at reducing undesirable cellulite. Cucumbers naturally reduce cellulite by drawing out extra fluids and tightening collagen. Consume some cucumber, juice it, and apply it to the places that retain water.

Garlic

Garlic is one of the most potent immune boosters found in nature. Garlic contains over 100 physiologically active chemicals, including alliin, allicin, alliinase, and uncommon sulfur compounds. When garlic is crushed or eaten, the enzymes allin and alliinase interact, resulting in a chemical reaction that produces allicin.

Allicin and sulfur-based compounds are powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal agents that can have an immune-stimulant effect. Garlic is also used to lower blood pressure and cholesterol, as well as to help prevent and reverse cancer.

Garlic can also be used to eliminate tumor cells in the stomach, colon, breast, and prostate, among other areas. Sulfur compounds can also be used to detoxify heavy metals like mercury, lead, and aluminum.

Ginger

Ginger contains a variety of volatile oils that contribute to its characteristic flavor and aroma, including zingerone, shogaols, and gingerols. These oils are antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and antiparasitic in nature. Furthermore, it delays the formation of cancer cells while boosting our body’s intrinsic, inborn ability to remove existing cancer cells.

Furthermore, ginger protects the body’s supplies of the potent antioxidant and free radical killer, glutathione. 6-gingerol has been shown to significantly inhibit the generation of nitric oxide, a highly reactive nitrogen molecule that rapidly generates the lethal free-radical peroxynitrite. Ginger is also an anti-nausea medication and stimulates the formation of digestive fluids (stomach acid, bile, and pancreatic enzymes) to help digestion.

GINSENG

Ginseng stimulates overall circulation patterns in the body, enhancing cellular energy generation and supplying new oxygen to important organs. It also aids in the relaxation and regulation of adrenal function, allowing for the optimal release of stress hormones.

Ginseng’s adaptogenic qualities have been shown to improve blood sugar signaling in diabetics and increase energy levels in persons suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome.

It is also thought to benefit the digestive tract, boost liver regeneration, and remove toxins. It also promotes the formation of red and white blood cells, as well as the prevention or treatment of anemia and the enhancement of immunity. It also improves creative thinking and memory by increasing blood flow to the brain and lowering neurodegenerative and inflammatory disorders.

GREEN TEA

Green tea contains a high level of the polyphenol antioxidant catechin epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). Most people assume that this antioxidant is to blame for the health benefits connected with green tea use.

EGCG is 100 times more effective than vitamin C and 24 times more potent than vitamin E. Because of its extraordinary ability to scavenge free radicals, green tea is one of the most effective anti-aging herbs. EGCG is one of only a few antioxidants that has been shown to influence mutant DNA synthesis, potentially reversing chronic illness states.

In a study published in Cancer Research in December 2004, EGCG in green tea was found to lower insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) levels while increasing IGF binding protein-3, which binds IGF-1. This reduces the likelihood of getting breast, colon, prostate, or lung cancer. It also inhibits crucial cancer survival proteins and reduces cancer-related chemical synthesis.

BLESSED BASIL

Holy basil is a little plant with aromatic leaves that is a member of the mint, or Labiatae, family. It grows wild throughout South Asia, where natives have used it for millennia. This one-of-a-kind plant is extremely useful for balancing the mind, body, and spirit. It has been shown to help the body’s systems adapt, balance, and increase resilience.

According to a study published in the Indian Journal of Clinical Biochemistry, holy basil may be able to treat some of the detrimental effects of diabetes, such as neuropathy and retinopathy. Antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin A, and essential oils found in holy basil move through the body scavenging free radicals and improving cellular integrity, blood flow, and genetic expression. Holy Basil decreases stress and blood sugar levels through modulating cortisol and insulin. Because it protects against heart disease and brain degradation, it is highly useful to cardiovascular health and brain function.

KALE

Kale is widely regarded as one of the most effective superfoods on the planet. It is a member of the Brassica family of vegetables, which includes cabbage, collards, and Brussel sprouts. These vegetables are well-known for their high quantities of antioxidants and phytonutrients, including sulfur.

Isothiocyanates are another glucosinolate phytonutrient present in kale. Isothiocyanates have been shown to inhibit carcinogenesis and promote apoptosis in cancer cells. When kale is broken down (chopped or chewed), an enzyme called myrosinase combines with glucosinolates to form isothiocyanates. As a result, the body absorbs more.

Kale is high in antioxidants. Kale has the highest content of the carotenoids beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin of any vegetable. These yellow-orange pigments are critical in the plant’s defense against excessive light radiation.

KELP IN THE SEA

Kelp is often recognized as the most effective natural source of iodine on the planet. It has been demonstrated that some species may concentrate iodine up to 30,000 times its concentration in saltwater. Iodine insufficiency is becoming more common all around the world.

Glutathione Can Be Boosted by Kelp

In Japan, Kombu refers to a variety of Pacific kelp species. In these nations, kombu is utilized in a variety of traditional meals, including soups, stews, and sushi. Kombu is high in natural glutamic acid, which is a precursor to glutathione, the body’s master antioxidant.

Additionally, sea vegetables contain a form of carbohydrate known as fucoidans. The branching pattern of these fucoidans differs from that of sulfur-containing compounds. They are being studied extensively for their ability to reduce inflammation in the body. Sulfated fucoidans have been shown to help with pain relief, infection control, and the prevention of atherosclerosis.

Water with Lemon

Lemon has been demonstrated to boost the activity of natural enzymes in the liver. Fresh lemon helps to oxygenate the body and boosts enzyme activity. This assists the liver in excreting toxins such as uric acid and liquefying clogged bile ducts.

Citric acid may also be quite helpful at chelating out erroneous calcium stones. It has a unique ability to produce soluble calcium compounds, which are used to treat pancreatic and kidney stones. This procedure may also help to avoid calcium deposits in the arteries, which cause cardiovascular disease.

Lemon water hydrates the body while also supplying antioxidants and electrolytes. Lemon has a lot of vitamin C, which boosts the immune system. It also has a high concentration of electrolytes such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Lemon is high in citrus bioflavonoid antioxidant phytonutrients known as Vitamin P.

Milk Thistle

Lemon has been demonstrated to boost the activity of natural enzymes in the liver. Fresh lemon helps to oxygenate the body and boosts enzyme activity. This person’s assistance One of nature’s most powerful liver detoxifiers is milk thistle. Medical herbalists used it to treat varicose veins as well as liver, spleen, and kidney issues in the late 1800s. It is now mostly used to improve the function of the liver, kidneys, and gastrointestinal tract. Milk thistle has helped many people with health issues such as psoriasis, menstrual problems, jaundice, and poor circulation.

The active antioxidant component of milk thistle is the flavonoid compound Silymarin. One of the most efficient liver detoxifiers is this antioxidant. It promotes the production of glutathione and superoxide dismutase, two of the body’s key antioxidants.

Glutathione supplementation protects the intestines from inflammatory damage, which causes ulcers and colitis. Milk thistle protects the numerous hepatic cell membranes in the liver and slows the rate at which toxins are absorbed. Silymarin stimulates protein synthesis, which aids in liver cell regeneration and counteracts the effects of toxins on the liver, according to study. It has been used to treat alcoholic hepatitis, alcoholic fatty liver, cirrhosis of the liver, and viral hepatitis.

You may also sauté or steam spinach without fear of losing too many nutrients. Another alternative for soups, stews, and egg dishes is frozen spinach. Simply thaw and squeeze out any excess water.
